Subtask 32-21-00-941-061-A

A. Safety Precaution
(1) In the cockpit, on the panel 400VU, put the warning notice in position to tell persons not to operate the landing gear control lever.
(2) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the nose wheel steering system:

on the brake pedals
on the nose wheel steering handwheel (18VU, 19VU).

4. Procedure
Subtask 32-21-00-020-050-A

A. Removal of the NLG Towing Attachment

Deactivation/Reactivation of the NLG Towing Attachement.

(1) Remove the rubber sealant with a SPATULA - NON METALLIC to prevent damage to the surface protection.
(2) Remove and discard the cotter pins (6).
(3) Remove the nuts (5), the washers (3) and (4).
(4) Remove the bolts (1) and the washers (2).
(5) Remove the NLG towing attachment (7).

NOTE: After towing attachement removal, do not reassemble the bolts, nuts and washers, on the NLG leg.

A. Removal of Equipment
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(3) Make an entry in the logbook.
