Subtask 29-24-55-941-052-A
A. Safety Precautions
   (1) In the cockpit, on the overhead panel 35VU, make sure that these pushbutton switches are released:
  • APU GEN
  • 1 BAT 2
  • GEN 1, GEN 2
  • EXT PWR.
   (2) In the cockpit, put WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to operate the pushbutton switches on these overhead panels:
  • 21VU (EMER ELEC PWR)
  • 25VU (APU)
  • 35VU (ELEC).
   (3) Make sure that the external power connector is not connected to the aircraft receptacle (20XG) (receptacle behind the access door 121AL).

B. Get Access
   (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position at the access door 822.
   (2) Put a warning notice on the access door 121AL to tell persons not to connect the external power connector.
   (3) Open the access door 822.
4. Procedure
Subtask 29-24-55-020-051-A
A. Removal of the Contactor
   (1) Remove the cover (1) of the panel 107VU.
   (2) Disconnect the electrical connector (4).
   (3) Put a CAP - BLANKING on the connector (4) and the electrical receptacle (3).
CAUTION: REMOVE THE CONTACTOR ONLY AND NOT THE BASE OR THE MODULE WHERE THE WIRES ARE CONNECTED.
   (4) Loosen the 6 captive screws (6) which stay in position in their housing.
   (5) Remove the contactor (5).
