Drain the Recovery Tank

A. Get Access
(1) Open the access door 196BB of the belly fairing.
(2) Open the right main door of the main gear (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).

(2) Open the right main door of the main gear (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(2) Put the CONTAINER 3 L(3/4 USGAL) in position below the recovery tank.
4. ProcedureWARNING:
OBEY THE HYDRAULIC SAFETY PROCEDURES.
(1) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002). (2) Put the CONTAINER 3 L(3/4 USGAL) in position below the recovery tank.

A. Drain the Recovery Tank
(1) Disconnect the hose (1) and the grommet (2) from the recovery tank (4).
(2) Remove the clamp (3) from the recovery tank (4).
(3) Remove the recovery tank (4).
(4) Drain the hydraulic fluid from the recovery tank (4) into the container.
(5) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(6) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(7) Put the recovery tank (4) in position.
(8) Install the clamp (3).
(9) Make sure that the hydraulic line end-fittings are serviceable.
(10) Connect the hose (1) and the grommet (2) to the recovery tank (4).
(11) Remove the container.
5. Close-up(1) Disconnect the hose (1) and the grommet (2) from the recovery tank (4).
(2) Remove the clamp (3) from the recovery tank (4).
(3) Remove the recovery tank (4).
(4) Drain the hydraulic fluid from the recovery tank (4) into the container.
(5) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(6) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(7) Put the recovery tank (4) in position.
(8) Install the clamp (3).
(9) Make sure that the hydraulic line end-fittings are serviceable.
(10) Connect the hose (1) and the grommet (2) to the recovery tank (4).
(11) Remove the container.

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the right main door of the main gear (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
(3) Close the access door 196BB of the belly fairing.
