   (2) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) on the panels that follow, to tell persons not to operate refuel/defuel system:
  • Refuel/defuel panels 800VU and 801VU
  • Fuel panel 40VU
  • Additional Center Tank (ACT) fuel control panel 28VU.

   (1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE at avionics compartment door 822.
   (2) Open access door 822 of the avionics compartment.
   (3) Open the access panel of electronic rack 103VU.

A. Removal of Relay 98QH
   (1) Loosen the screws (1) and remove the relay (2) from the base (3).

B. Installation of the Relay 98QH
   (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (3) Install a new AIPC 28-28-08-01-040 RELAY (2)AIPC 28-28-88-01-030 RELAY (2) on the base (3).

   (1) Close the access panel of electronic rack 103VU.
   (2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (3) Close the access door 822 of the battery compartment.

B. Put the aircraft back to the serviceable condition.
   (1) Remove the warning notices from:
  • Refuel/defuel panels 800VU and 801VU
  • Fuel control panel 40VU
  • Additional Center Tank (ACT) fuel control panel 28VU.
   (2) Remove the access platform(s).
   (3) De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
