A. Get Access
(1) Make sure that ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position below forward cargo-compartment door 825.
(2) Make sure that forward cargo-compartment door 825 is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(3) Make sure that protection panel 132MW is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-003).
Subtask 26-23-25-865-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position below forward cargo-compartment door 825.
(2) Make sure that forward cargo-compartment door 825 is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(3) Make sure that protection panel 132MW is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-003).

A. Installation of the Diaphragm
(1) Remove the blanking plugs from the disconnected line ends.
(2) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(4) Make sure that the diaphragm (3) is in the correct condition and has no blockage.
(5) Apply grease:
(6) Put the diaphragm (3) in its installation position and carefully connect the pipes (1).
(7) Hold the diaphragm (3) and tighten the nuts (2).
Subtask 26-23-25-210-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the blanking plugs from the disconnected line ends.

(4) Make sure that the diaphragm (3) is in the correct condition and has no blockage.
(5) Apply grease:
CAUTION:
APPLY A SMALL QUANTITY OF THE CORRECT GREASE TO THE MALE THREADS OF THE CONNECTIONS. THIS WILL PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE THREADS.
MAKE SURE THAT GREASE DOES NOT GO INTO THE PIPES. GREASE IN THE PIPES CAN CAUSE A MALFUNCTION OF THE SYSTEM.
(a) Apply a small quantity of Mineral Oil base Grease-- Vaseline or Petrolatum - (Material No.03FAB1) to the male threads of the diaphragm (3). (6) Put the diaphragm (3) in its installation position and carefully connect the pipes (1).
(7) Hold the diaphragm (3) and tighten the nuts (2).
B. Test
(1) Do a check of the fire-extinguishing lines for leakage and obstruction, without bottle 4005WX/4015WX (Ref. AMM TASK 26-23-00-200-004).
5. Close-up(1) Do a check of the fire-extinguishing lines for leakage and obstruction, without bottle 4005WX/4015WX (Ref. AMM TASK 26-23-00-200-004).

B. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install protection panel 132MW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-400-003).
(3) Close forward cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
