A. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position below the FWD cargo-compartment door 825.
(2) Make sure that the FWD cargo-compartment door 825 is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(3) Make sure that the protection panel 132MW is removed.
Subtask 26-23-21-865-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position below the FWD cargo-compartment door 825.
(2) Make sure that the FWD cargo-compartment door 825 is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(3) Make sure that the protection panel 132MW is removed.
B. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) open, safetied and tagged:

A. Installation of the Check Valve
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Remove the blanking plugs from the disconnected line ends.
(4) Remove the blanking plugs from the check valve (3).
(5) Apply grease as follows:
(6) Put the check valve (3) in position.
(7) Connect the pipe (1) to the check valve (3) and tighten the nut (2).
(8) Connect the pipe (5) to the check valve (3) and tighten the nut (4).
Subtask 26-23-21-210-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL NOTE: The installation procedure is the same for the check valves 5016WM and 5017WM.
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Remove the blanking plugs from the disconnected line ends.
(4) Remove the blanking plugs from the check valve (3).
(5) Apply grease as follows:
CAUTION:
APPLY A SMALL QUANTITY OF THE CORRECT GREASE TO THE MALE THREADS OF THE CONNECTIONS. THIS WILL PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE THREADS.
MAKE SURE THAT GREASE DOES NOT GO INTO THE PIPES. GREASE IN THE PIPES CAN CAUSE A MALFUNCTION OF THE SYSTEM.
(a) Apply a small quantity of Mineral Oil base Grease-- Vaseline or Petrolatum - (Material No.03FAB1) to the male threads. (6) Put the check valve (3) in position.
(7) Connect the pipe (1) to the check valve (3) and tighten the nut (2).
(8) Connect the pipe (5) to the check valve (3) and tighten the nut (4).
B. Do a check of the distribution-piping of the fire-extinguisher bottle 4010WX for leakage and obstruction (Ref. AMM TASK 26-23-00-200-004).

A. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

B. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the protection panel 132MW.
(3) Close the FWD cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
