A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) If the inflation reservoir (1) is charged, install the lock pin (3) in the regulator valve assembly (2).
(a) Safety the flap (Ref. AMM TASK 27-00-00-480-002).
(b) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) on the slat/flap control lever to tell persons not to operate the flaps during the installation procedure.
(3) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position adjacent to the related emergency exit door.
(4) Install the CAP - BLANKING (AN929-10W TYPE) (5) on the enclosure connection (4).
Subtask 25-62-00-860-062-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) If the inflation reservoir (1) is charged, install the lock pin (3) in the regulator valve assembly (2).
NOTE: The lock pin (3) is kept in a pocket which is attached to the inflation reservoir (1).
WARNING:
PUT THE SAFETY DEVICES AND THE WARNING NOTICES IN POSITION BEFORE YOU START A TASK ON OR NEAR:
(2) If you removed the aft emergency-exit escape slide: - THE FLIGHT CONTROLS
- THE FLIGHT CONTROL SURFACES
- THE LANDING GEAR AND THE RELATED DOORS
- COMPONENTS THAT MOVE.
(a) Safety the flap (Ref. AMM TASK 27-00-00-480-002).
(b) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) on the slat/flap control lever to tell persons not to operate the flaps during the installation procedure.
(3) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position adjacent to the related emergency exit door.
(4) Install the CAP - BLANKING (AN929-10W TYPE) (5) on the enclosure connection (4).
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Open the applicable overhead stowage-compartment door.
(2) Remove the screws (2) and the washers (12).
(3) Carefully remove the inspection wall (1) from the overhead stowage compartment.
(4) Open the access door (13).
(5) If necessary, remove the lock pin (3) and the pressure blanking plug (9) from the pocket attached to the inflation reservoir (5).
(6) If the inflation reservoir (5) is pressurized, install the lock pin (3) in the regulator valve assembly (4).
(7) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position adjacent to the related emergency exit door.
(8) Install the pressure blanking plug (9) on the connection (8).
4. Procedure(1) Open the applicable overhead stowage-compartment door.
(2) Remove the screws (2) and the washers (12).
(3) Carefully remove the inspection wall (1) from the overhead stowage compartment.
(4) Open the access door (13).
(5) If necessary, remove the lock pin (3) and the pressure blanking plug (9) from the pocket attached to the inflation reservoir (5).
(6) If the inflation reservoir (5) is pressurized, install the lock pin (3) in the regulator valve assembly (4).
(7) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position adjacent to the related emergency exit door.
(8) Install the pressure blanking plug (9) on the connection (8).

A. Installation Procedure of the Enclosure Door
(1) Put the lower edge of the enclosure door (8) in the groove in the bottom of the enclosure (6).
(2) Close the enclosure door (8) on the three ball-lock assemblies (7).
(3) Push the head of the lock pin (12) with a SCREWDRIVER - PHILLIPS HEAD, then:
(5) If an AFT emergency-exit escape-slide is removed, install the fairing (10):
(a) Engage the tongue-tabs (9) behind the belly fairing, and close the fairing (10).
(b) Push the latch (11) into the fairing (10) until it engages behind the belly fairing.
(c) Make sure that the latch (11) is flush with the outside surface of the fairing (10).
(6) Make an entry in the logbook to record the procedure.
Subtask 25-62-00-869-055-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Put the lower edge of the enclosure door (8) in the groove in the bottom of the enclosure (6).
(2) Close the enclosure door (8) on the three ball-lock assemblies (7).
(3) Push the head of the lock pin (12) with a SCREWDRIVER - PHILLIPS HEAD, then:
- Apply force to the enclosure door (8) adjacent to the lock pin (13).
- Remove the screwdriver.
- Continue to push the enclosure door (8) until the lock pin (13) moves quickly back to a flush position with the surface of the enclosure door (8).
(5) If an AFT emergency-exit escape-slide is removed, install the fairing (10):
(a) Engage the tongue-tabs (9) behind the belly fairing, and close the fairing (10).
(b) Push the latch (11) into the fairing (10) until it engages behind the belly fairing.
(c) Make sure that the latch (11) is flush with the outside surface of the fairing (10).
(6) Make an entry in the logbook to record the procedure.
B. Effect on the System
(1) The Programming and Test Panel (PTP), if the Cabin Assignment Model (CAM) is programmed to monitor the inflation reservoirs (1), shows the message "SLIDE PRESSURE LOW".

C. Installation of the Enclosure Door
(1) Make sure that the ball-lock pins (10) are engaged correctly and you cannot see the red O-rings (11).
(2) Put the bottom edge of the enclosure door (7) into the groove in the bottom of the enclosure (6).
(3) Push the enclosure door (7) on the three ball-lock assemblies (8) to engage it.
(4) Make sure that the enclosure door (7) is installed correctly and it is flush with the surface of the enclosure (6).
(5) Make an entry in the logbook.
Subtask 25-62-00-869-055-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the ball-lock pins (10) are engaged correctly and you cannot see the red O-rings (11).
(2) Put the bottom edge of the enclosure door (7) into the groove in the bottom of the enclosure (6).
(3) Push the enclosure door (7) on the three ball-lock assemblies (8) to engage it.
(4) Make sure that the enclosure door (7) is installed correctly and it is flush with the surface of the enclosure (6).

(2) Remove the 98D27803000000 LOCKING TOOL-FLAP SLAT LEVER,INT. POSITION from the slat/flap control lever.
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
Subtask 25-62-00-860-063-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Remove the 98D27803000000 LOCKING TOOL-FLAP SLAT LEVER,INT. POSITION from the slat/flap control lever.
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).

(1) If necessary, remove the lock pin (3) and the pressure blanking plug (9).
(2) Put the lock pin (3) and the pressure blanking plug (9) in the pocket attached to the inflation reservoir (5).
(3) Put the inspection wall (1)in position.
(4) Install the washers (12) and the screws (2).
(5) Tighten the screws (2).
(6) Close the applicable overhead stowage-compartment door.
(7) Close the access door (13).
(8) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(9) Remove the access platform(s).
(1) If necessary, remove the lock pin (3) and the pressure blanking plug (9).
(2) Put the lock pin (3) and the pressure blanking plug (9) in the pocket attached to the inflation reservoir (5).
(3) Put the inspection wall (1)in position.
(4) Install the washers (12) and the screws (2).
(5) Tighten the screws (2).
(6) Close the applicable overhead stowage-compartment door.
(7) Close the access door (13).
(8) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(9) Remove the access platform(s).
