A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the forward cargo-compartment door is opened (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is in position at the opening of the forward cargo-compartment door.
(3) Make sure that the warning notice is in position at the applicable control panel of the cargo loading system.

4. Procedure

A. Preparation for Installation
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) to the thread and shaft of the screws.

B. Installation of the Upper Y-Guide
(1) Put the upper Y-guide (3) with the mountings (5) and (6) in its correct installation position.
(2) Install the screws (1) and (4) with the washers (2).

C. Close Access
(1) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(2) Remove the access platform(s).
(3) Close the forward cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
