A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the forward and/or aft cargo-compartment door is opened (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is in position at the opening of the applicable cargo-compartment door.
(3) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is (are) in the position at the applicable control panel of the cargo loading system.

A. Preparation for Installation
(1) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(2) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.

Guide Roller Assy ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

(1) Install the guide roller assembly (4) with the washer (6) in the fixed YZ-latch (1) and/or (5) and align the holes.
(2) Install the slotted roller shaft (3) in the fixed YZ-latch (1) and/or (5). Make sure the roller shaft (3) engages with the base of the fixed YZ-latch (1) and/or (5).
(3) Safety the slotted roller shaft (3) with the safety pin (2).

(1) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Close the forward and/or aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
