Fixed YZ-Latches for 2 ACTSubtask 25-52-44-010-054-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Get Access
(1) Open the forward or aft cargo compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position at the opening of the forward or aft cargo compartment door.
Subtask 25-52-44-010-055-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Open the forward or aft cargo compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position at the opening of the forward or aft cargo compartment door.
B. Get Access
(1) If necessary, remove the applicable Additional Center Tank(s) ACT(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-27-000-001).
(2) Remove the sidewall panels (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-000-003) to get access to the YZ-latches.
(3) If necessary, remove the floor panels (Ref. AMM TASK 53-42-14-000-001) to get access to the YZ-latches.
4. Procedure(1) If necessary, remove the applicable Additional Center Tank(s) ACT(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-27-000-001).
(2) Remove the sidewall panels (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-000-003) to get access to the YZ-latches.
(3) If necessary, remove the floor panels (Ref. AMM TASK 53-42-14-000-001) to get access to the YZ-latches.
Subtask 25-52-44-020-061-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the Fixed YZ-Latch for the ACT
(1) Make match marks on the components that you disconnect/remove to record their connections/positions. This is important for the subsequent installation procedure.
(2) Remove the nuts (4) and the bolts (1) from the YZ-latch (2).
(3) Remove the screws (5) from the YZ-latch (2).
(4) Remove the YZ-latch (2) together with the shim plate (3) from the structure (6).
(1) Make match marks on the components that you disconnect/remove to record their connections/positions. This is important for the subsequent installation procedure.
(2) Remove the nuts (4) and the bolts (1) from the YZ-latch (2).
(3) Remove the screws (5) from the YZ-latch (2).
(4) Remove the YZ-latch (2) together with the shim plate (3) from the structure (6).
