A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the forward and/or aft cargo-compartment door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is in position at the opening of the applicable cargo compartment door.
(3) Make sure that the warning notice is in position at the applicable control panel of the cargo loading system.
Subtask 25-52-34-865-076-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the forward and/or aft cargo-compartment door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is in position at the opening of the applicable cargo compartment door.
(3) Make sure that the warning notice is in position at the applicable control panel of the cargo loading system.

Subtask 25-52-34-910-052-CJ ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. (1) Remove the unwanted sealant from the latchrail with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a SCRAPER - WOODEN or SCRAPER - PLASTIC.
(2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(3) Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) to the thread of the screws (1).

(3) Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) to the thread of the screws (1).
B. Installation of the X-Latch
(1) Apply a layer of Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Interfay - (Material No.06AAC1) to the mating surfaces of the X-latch (4).
(2) Put the X-latch (4) in its installation position on the latchrail (3).
(3) Install the screws (1) with the nuts (2).
Subtask 25-52-34-710-058-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Apply a layer of Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Interfay - (Material No.06AAC1) to the mating surfaces of the X-latch (4).
(2) Put the X-latch (4) in its installation position on the latchrail (3).
(3) Install the screws (1) with the nuts (2).
C. Test of the X-Latch
(1) Lift and lower the X-latch (4) to make sure it moves freely.
5. Close-up(1) Lift and lower the X-latch (4) to make sure it moves freely.

(1) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(2) Close the forward and/or aft cargo compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
