A. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the third occupant seat is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-11-41-000-001).

B. Preparation for Installation
(1) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(2) If they are not sufficiently clean, clean the parts kept from the removed component with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.

4. Procedure

A. Installation of the Third Occupant-Seat Safety-Harness

Third Occupant-Seat Safety-Harness ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

(1) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
(2) Put and hold the reel assembly (24) on the third occupant seat.
(3) Install the screws (26).
(4) Install the nuts (22) and the spacers (23).
(5) Tighten the nuts (22).
(6) Put the shoulder straps (2) through the slots of the headrest assembly.
(7) Connect the cable (25) to the reel assembly (24).
(8) Put and hold the backrest assembly (10) on the third occupant seat.

CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT YOU INSTALL EACH OF THE SCREWS IN ITS CORRECT POSITION. THE SCREWS HAVE DIFFERENT LENGTHS. IF YOU DO NOT INSTALL EACH OF THE SCREWS IN ITS CORRECT POSITION, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.

(9) Install the screws (11) and tighten them.
(10) Install the washers (7) and the screws (8).
(11) Tighten the screws (8).
(12) Put and hold the aft cover (4) on the rear of third occupant seat.
(13) Install the new plastic rivets (3).
(14) Put and hold the crotch strap (21) on the seat bottom assembly (17).
(15) Install the spacer (18), the washer (19) and the screw (20).
(16) Install the nut (16) and tighten it.
(17) Put and hold the lap belts (12) on the seat frame.
(18) Install the washers (13) and the new belt attachment pins (14).
(19) Put the shoulder straps (2) through the slot of the cushion (1).
(20) Put the cushions (1), (9) and (15) in the correct position on the third occupant seat. For this, you must find the velcro tape.
(21) Push the cushions (1), (9) and (15) to attach them to the velcro tape.

(1) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
(2) Put and hold the reel assembly (22) on the third occupant seat.
(3) Install the screws (24).
(4) Install the nuts (20) and the spacers (21).
(5) Tighten the nuts (20).
(6) Put the shoulder straps (2) through the slots of the headrest assembly.
(7) Connect the cable (23) to the reel assembly (22).
(8) Put and hold the backrest assembly (10) on the third occupant seat.

(9) Install the screws (11) and tighten them.
(10) Install the washers (7) and the screws (8).
(11) Tighten the screws (8).
(12) Put and hold the aft cover (4) on the rear of the third occupant seat.
(13) Install the new plastic rivets (3).
(14) Put and hold the crotch strap (16) on the seat of bottom assembly (19).
(15) Install the washer (17) and the screw (18).
(16) Tighten the screw (18).
(17) Put and hold the lap belts (12) on the seat frame.
(18) Install the washers (13) and the new belt attachment pins (14).
(19) Put the shoulder straps (2) through the slot of the cushion (1).
(20) Put the crotch strap (16) through the slot of the cushion (15).
(21) Put the cushions (1), (9) and (15) in the correct position on the third occupant seat. For this, you must find the velcro tape.
(22) Push the cushions (1), (9) and (15) to attach them to the velcro tapes.

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the third occupant seat (Ref. AMM TASK 25-11-41-400-001).
