B. Get access to the avionics compartment.
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position below access door 811 of the avionics compartment.
(2) Open access door 811.
4. Procedure(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position below access door 811 of the avionics compartment.
(2) Open access door 811.

A. Removal of the Seat
(1) In the avionics compartment, disconnect the electrical connector (5).
(2) Put the CAP - BLANKING on the electrical connectors (5) and (6).
(3) Make sure the seat is in the stowed position before you remove the bolts (7) and the washers (8).
(4) Remove the bolts (7) and the washers (8).
(5) Remove the armrest (1) from the seat, on the side stick side.
(7) Remove the seat from the seat base.
(9) Install the armrest (1) on the seat.
(10) Install the bolts (7) and the washers (8).
(11) TORQUE the bolts (7) to between 0.9 and 0.8 m.daN (79.65 and 70.80 lbf.in )

(1) In the avionics compartment, disconnect the electrical connector (5).
(2) Put the CAP - BLANKING on the electrical connectors (5) and (6).
(3) Make sure the seat is in the stowed position before you remove the bolts (7) and the washers (8).
(4) Remove the bolts (7) and the washers (8).
(5) Remove the armrest (1) from the seat, on the side stick side.
NOTE: This will help you remove the seat from the cockpit.
(6) In the cockpit, remove the bolts (3) and the washers (4) from the seat base (2). (7) Remove the seat from the seat base.
CAUTION:
BEFORE YOU REMOVE THE SEAT FROM THE COCKPIT OR INSTALL IT IN THE COCKPIT, INSTALL THE APPLICABLE PROTECTION ON THE COCKPIT DOOR AND OTHER COCKPIT ITEMS. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THIS INSTRUCTION, DAMAGE TO THE COCKPIT DOOR AND COCKPIT ITEMS CAN OCCUR.
(8) Move the seat out from the cockpit. (9) Install the armrest (1) on the seat.
(10) Install the bolts (7) and the washers (8).
(11) TORQUE the bolts (7) to between 0.9 and 0.8 m.daN (79.65 and 70.80 lbf.in )
