A. WTB RESET Page
(1) When the SFCCμs have detected a critical system failure, applicacation of the WTB is set to arrest the system/transmission in a fail- safe condition. Locked E/W is simultaneously triggered to inform the flight crew. The setting of the WTB is latched inside the SFCC (by means of latching relays keeping energized the WTB solenoid even if SFCC is not energized). The WTB reset function allows to reset the relays.
(2) When on the submenu pages SFCC-(1) (2) TEST/RESET the Line Key "1R" "WTB-RESET" is pressed, the named SFCC transmits the following page to the CFDS.

7. TABLE 7
A. SFCC Interactive MCDU Menu Management
(1) The structure of the SFCC interactive MCDU menu is shown as follows.
B. Several features/functions are essential to do the flap troubleshooting and to obtain data on fault identified by the system or status on the system.
(1) CFDS PAGES - SYSTEM STATUS
All maintenance messages (class 1, 2 and 3) related to all faults detected in real time by the system will be shown during the SYSTEM STATUS. In order to indicate a transient fault to the operator, the maintenance messages, automatically shown in SYSTEM STATUS, are only erased when exiting from the function.
CLASS 1
Faults which have an operational cockpit event. The status given by these faults are covered by the MMEL. Faults are present in the PFR.
CLASS 2
Faults which do not have consequence on the system operating conditions. Information of CLASS 2 faults is done through the ECAM MAINTENANCE STATUS. It is considered by repairing them before the next scheduled maintenance task, that the dispatch is significantly increased. CLASS 2 faults are shown in the PFR.
CLASS 3
Faults which have no consequence on the system operating conditions and the crew is not aware of them. Faults are not shown in the PFR but are available in the CLASS 3 FAULTS menu.

(2) CFDS PAGES - LAST LEG REPORT
This section presents all messages sent to the CFDIU. The SFCC does not make any correlation as opposed to CFDIU which determines the identifiers. This is a simplified backup of the printed PFR.

(3) CFDS PAGES - PREVIOUS LEGS REPORT
The previous legs report function is the history of the LAST LEG REPORT of the system limited to 64 flights.
The previous legs report function is the history of the LAST LEG REPORT of the system limited to 64 flights.
(4) On ground fault
The MCDU displays the faults stored in the "on ground failure memory" (generally limited to the 3 last faults recorded). But if no failures are stored, the MCDU shows the "NO FAULTS" message. This function shows on ground the class 1,2 and 3 maintenance messages related to new faults detected on ground and which are therefore not recorded in the PFR. The faults detected during flight and still present on ground are in the PFR/CLASS3 FAULTS and not in the ON GROUND FAULTS (except class 3 faults). This function presents the history of these faults since the aircraft landed up to the next take-off.

(6) Flap SYSTEM DATA - PPU
The flap data is refreshed every 5 seconds with updated data.

NOTE: "272.3" represents the decimal value of the synchro angles. "C1A" represents the hexadecimal value of the same data.
C. System Tests

D. Other features might help to further investigate a fault, but will only be used on a case by case review and will require assistance of AIRBUS or SFCC manufacturer for interpretation.

E. Troubleshooting Data
(1) The "TROUBLE SHOOTING DATA" item provides additional data about the failures (all classes) recorded during the last and previous legs. The prompt adjacent to a message gives access to the corresponding snapshot.
