Datalink Control and Display Unit (DCDU) (If Installed) (procedures require ATC datalink)

ATC datalink communications (CPDLC, DCL, OCL) are not available.

Associated ATC datalink Required Communication Performance (RCP / Initial Continental Performance for CPDLC) capabilities are lost.

As an alternate procedure, ATC may permit the use of voice communication on alternate route that does not require FANS A aircraft capability.

ATC permits the use of the voice communication for operations that require FANS B aircraft capability.
