If the center tank is empty for the flight:
- MODE SEL pb-swMAN
- CTR TK PUMP 1 and 2 pb-swOFF
If the center tank is not empty for the flight:
Before engine start:
- MODE SEL pb-swMAN
3 min after engine start:
- CTR TK PUMP 1 and 2 pb-swOFF
- In Flight
If the center tank is not empty for the flight:
After slat retraction and when the fuel in one wing is less
than 5000 kg ( 11000 lb):
- CTR TK PUMP 1 and 2 pb-swON
If the FUEL CTR TK PUMPS LO PR alert is displayed on the EWD, or if the center tank
is not empty at slat extension:
- CTR TK PUMP 1 and 2 pb-swOFF
