IR 2 (IR 2 totally inoperative)

Applicable to: -
- Flight preparation/limitations
For aircraft with the RNP AR capability, RNP AR operations are not permitted.
Maximum landing capability is CAT 3 SINGLE.
RVSM operations are not permitted because the ADR 2 is set to OFF.
- During cockpit preparation
  • IR 2 mode selectorOFF
  • ADR 2 is consequently set to OFF.
  • The F/CTL MAINTENANCE and SFCS MAINTENANCE message are displayed on the STATUS SD Page.
  • ATT HDG SWITCHING selectorF/O 3
  • AIR DATA SWITCHING selectorF/O 3
  • ATC/XPDRSYS 1
- For takeoff
Takeoff in CONF 1+F is not permitted.
NOTE:
When the ADR 2 is set to OFF, and if the aircraft is in CONF 1+F, the SFCS n°2 Flap channel is unable to crosscheck the airspeed coming from the ADR 1 with the ADR 2 airspeed coming from the SFCS n°2 Slat channel. This may lead to an uncommanded flap retraction during the takeoff. As a consequence, takeoff in CONF 1+F is not permitted when the ADR 2 is set to OFF.
