Smoke Detection Control Unit (SDCU)

May be inoperative provided that:

The FWD, AFT, and BULK cargo compartments are empty or do not contain flammable or combustible materials, and

The lavatory smoke detection system is considered inoperative.

The lavatory smoke detection system is considered inoperative.
