Cabin DEU B

One or more may be inoperative provided that :

One DEU B and the associated handset are operative at each pair of floor level exit doors, and

The slide bottle pressure and door bottle pressure associated with each affected DEU B are checked on the associated direct reading pressure gauge before the first flight of each day.

One or more may be inoperative provided that:

One DEU B and the associated handset are operative at each pair of floor level exit doors, and

The slide bottle pressure and door bottle pressure associated with each affected DEU B are checked on the associated direct reading pressure gauge before the first flight of each day, and

The associated lavatory fire extinguisher system is checked operative, and

The absence of smoke in the affected lavatory is periodically checked.
