A. Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002)

B. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the pushbutton switch of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) is off.
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

4. Procedure
Subtask 79-35-00-040-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Replacement of the Main Oil Filter and check of the Visual indicator (pop out)
(1) Replace the main oil filter element (Ref. AMM TASK 79-21-10-920-002).
(2) Check that the visual indicator (pop out) of the electrical chip detector is not extended (popped out).
(3) Check the Electrical Master Chip Detector (EMCD) for particles (Ref. AMM TASK 79-00-00-281-002)

Subtask 79-35-00-720-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

B. Visual indicator (pop out) functional Check
(1) Disconnect the DPM electrical harness connector B from the visual indicator.
(2) Close the circuit between pin N°2 and N°3 of connector B with jumper metallic for 1 second minimum.
(3) Check the visual red pop out indicator must extend (extension time < 1 second).
(a) If the red pop out has not extended, replace the visual indicator (Ref. AMM TASK 79-21-30-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 79-21-30-400-001) .
(b) If red pop out indicator has extended, do the resetting of the visual indicator (Ref. AMM TASK 79-21-30-440-001), then go to the next step.

C. Test
(1) Do a Minimum Idle leak Check (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-710-006) and make sure that there is no leakage from main oil supply filter.

D. Install WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell that the oil filter clog warning is inoperative.

5. Close-up

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the fan cowl doors: (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-410-040)
(a) FOR [1000EM1] (ENGINE-1)

(b) FOR [1000EM2] (ENGINE-2)

(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(4) Remove the warning notices from the panels 115VU and 50VU.
(5) Make an entry in the log book.

B. De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002)
