Installation of the Low Oil Pressure Switch
WARNING:
DO NOT LET ENGINE OIL STAY ON YOUR SKIN FOR A LONG TIME. FLUSH THE OIL FROM YOUR SKIN WITH WATER. THE OIL IS POISONOUS AND CAN GO THROUGH YOUR SKIN AND INTO YOUR BODY.
WARNING:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.
CAUTION:
DO NOT LET ENGINE FUEL OR OIL FALL ON THE ENGINE. UNWANTED FUEL OR OIL MUST BE REMOVED IMMEDIATELY WITH A CLEAN LINT FREE CLOTH. THE FUEL OR OIL CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SURFACE PROTECTION AND TO SOME PARTS.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off. Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
(3) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) is in position.

E. Clean these parts.
(1) Clean these parts with a clean Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with cleaning fluid (Material No.V01-002) .
(a) The bolts (8).
(b) The unions (2) and (6).
(c) The mounting bracket.
(d) The connections of the oil tubes (1) and (5).
4. Procedure(1) Clean these parts with a clean Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with cleaning fluid (Material No.V01-002) .
(a) The bolts (8).
(b) The unions (2) and (6).
(c) The mounting bracket.
(d) The connections of the oil tubes (1) and (5).

A. Make sure that these parts are not damaged.
(1) The bolts (8).
(2) The unions (2) and (6).
(3) The mounting bracket.
(4) The electrical connector (4).
(5) The oil tubes.
Subtask 79-34-15-410-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) The bolts (8).
(2) The unions (2) and (6).

B. Install the unions
(1) Install new AIPC 79-34-15-80-020 PACKING (3) and AIPC 79-34-15-80-020 PACKING (7) (Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-13-911-010) to the unions (2) and (6).
(2) Attach the unions to the switch (9).
(3) TORQUE the unions to between 105 and 95 lbf.in (1.19 and 1.07 m.daN )
(Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-911-013).
Subtask 79-34-15-420-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Install new AIPC 79-34-15-80-020 PACKING (3) and AIPC 79-34-15-80-020 PACKING (7) (Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-13-911-010) to the unions (2) and (6).
(2) Attach the unions to the switch (9).
(3) TORQUE the unions to between 105 and 95 lbf.in (1.19 and 1.07 m.daN )
(Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-911-013). C. Install the low oil pressure switch
(1) Put the switch (9) on the bracket in the correct position for installation.
(2) Attach the switch with the bolts (8).
(3) TORQUE the bolts to between 44 and 36 lbf.in (0.50 and 0.41 m.daN )
(Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-911-013).
(4) Connect the oil tubes
(a) Connect the oil tubes (1) and (5) to the switch (9).
(b) TORQUE the oil tube nuts to between 145 and 135 lbf.in (1.64 and 1.53 m.daN )
(Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-911-013).
(c) Connect the electrical connector 4000EN-A (4) to the switch (9). (Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-15-912-010)
(5) Remove the applicable covers/caps/plugs from the openings.
5. Close-up(1) Put the switch (9) on the bracket in the correct position for installation.
(2) Attach the switch with the bolts (8).
(3) TORQUE the bolts to between 44 and 36 lbf.in (0.50 and 0.41 m.daN )
(Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-911-013). (4) Connect the oil tubes
(a) Connect the oil tubes (1) and (5) to the switch (9).
(b) TORQUE the oil tube nuts to between 145 and 135 lbf.in (1.64 and 1.53 m.daN )
(Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-911-013). (c) Connect the electrical connector 4000EN-A (4) to the switch (9). (Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-15-912-010)
(5) Remove the applicable covers/caps/plugs from the openings.

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the fan cowls (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-410-010)

B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):- THE PROBES WILL BECOME TOO HOT.
