Installation of the Oil Pressure Transmitter
WARNING:
DO NOT LET ENGINE OIL STAY ON YOUR SKIN FOR A LONG TIME. FLUSH THE OIL FROM YOUR SKIN WITH WATER. THE OIL IS POISONOUS AND CAN GO THROUGH YOUR SKIN AND INTO YOUR BODY.
CAUTION:
DO NOT LET ENGINE FUEL OR OIL FALL ON THE ENGINE. UNWANTED FUEL OR OIL MUST BE REMOVED IMMEDIATELY WITH A CLEAN LINT FREE CLOTH. THE FUEL OR OIL CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SURFACE PROTECTION AND TO SOME PARTS.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off. Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
(3) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) is in position.

C. Use a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with the cleaning fluid (Material No.V01-001) to clean these parts:
(1) The bolts.
(2) The mounting bracket.
(3) The electrical connector.
(4) The connections of the oil tubes.
4. Procedure(1) The bolts.
(2) The mounting bracket.
(3) The electrical connector.
(4) The connections of the oil tubes.
Subtask 79-33-15-420-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Install the transmitter.
(1) Remove the applicable covers/caps/blanks from the openings and the electrical connector.
(2) Put the transmitter (5) on the bracket in the correct position for installation.
(3) Install the bolts (3).
(4) TORQUE the bolts to between 110 and 90 lbf.in (1.24 and 1.02 m.daN )
(Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-911-013).
(5) Connect the oil tubes.
(a) Connect the oil tubes (1) and (2) to the transmitter.
(b) TORQUE the oil tube nuts to between 145 and 135 lbf.in (1.64 and 1.53 m.daN )
(Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-911-013).
(6) Connect the electrical connector (4) to the transmitter (5) (Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-15-912-010)
5. Close-up(1) Remove the applicable covers/caps/blanks from the openings and the electrical connector.
(2) Put the transmitter (5) on the bracket in the correct position for installation.
(3) Install the bolts (3).
(4) TORQUE the bolts to between 110 and 90 lbf.in (1.24 and 1.02 m.daN )
(Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-911-013). (5) Connect the oil tubes.
(a) Connect the oil tubes (1) and (2) to the transmitter.
(b) TORQUE the oil tube nuts to between 145 and 135 lbf.in (1.64 and 1.53 m.daN )
(Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-911-013). (6) Connect the electrical connector (4) to the transmitter (5) (Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-15-912-010)

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the fan cowls (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-410-010).

(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
