Installation of the Oil Tank Pressurization Valve
WARNING:
DO NOT LET ENGINE OIL STAY ON YOUR SKIN FOR A LONG TIME. FLUSH THE OIL FROM YOUR SKIN WITH WATER. THE OIL IS POISONOUS AND CAN GO THROUGH YOUR SKIN AND INTO YOUR BODY.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off. Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
Subtask 79-11-51-010-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off. Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

C. Make sure that the thrust reverser Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) is deactivated (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-040-012)
4. ProcedureSubtask 79-11-51-420-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Install the Pressurization Valve on the Oil Tank:
(1) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(2) Install the new AIPC 79-11-51-80-040 PACKING (12) and AIPC 79-11-51-80-060 PACKING (14) (Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-13-911-010) in the grooves of the pressurization valve (13).
(3) Carefully move the free ends of the oil tubes (1) and (2) so as to let the pressurization valve (13) be installed on the oil tank (15).
(4) Install the pressurization valve (13) on the seat on the top of the oil tank (15).
(5) Install the bracket (16) on to the two studs on the oil tank flange.
(6) Install the two nuts (17).
(7) TORQUE the two nuts (17) to between 200 and 180 lbf.in (2.26 and 2.03 m.daN )
(Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-911-013).
(8) Put the flange of the the oil tank breather tube (2) over the pressurization valve (13) and align the bolt holes.
(9) Put the bracket (5) in to position on the flange of the oil tank breather tube (2).
(10) Install the washer (3) and the three bolts (6).
(11) TORQUE the three bolts (6) to between 105 and 85 lbf.in (1.19 and 0.96 m.daN )
(Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-911-013).
(12) Connect the oil tube (11) to the oil tube (1).
(13) TORQUE the tube connector to between 513 and 478 lbf.in (5.80 and 5.40 m.daN )
(Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-911-013). Use the IAE1R18002 WRENCH.
(14) Safety the tube connector with lockwire (Material No.V02-126) (Ref. AMM TASK 70-40-11-911-014).
(15) Put the clip (7) in position on the bracket (5) and attach it with the washer (9) and the bolt (10).
(16) TORQUE the bolt (10) to between 45 and 36 lbf.in (0.51 and 0.41 m.daN )
(Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-911-013).
5. Close-up(1) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(2) Install the new AIPC 79-11-51-80-040 PACKING (12) and AIPC 79-11-51-80-060 PACKING (14) (Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-13-911-010) in the grooves of the pressurization valve (13).
(3) Carefully move the free ends of the oil tubes (1) and (2) so as to let the pressurization valve (13) be installed on the oil tank (15).
(4) Install the pressurization valve (13) on the seat on the top of the oil tank (15).
(5) Install the bracket (16) on to the two studs on the oil tank flange.
(6) Install the two nuts (17).
(7) TORQUE the two nuts (17) to between 200 and 180 lbf.in (2.26 and 2.03 m.daN )
(Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-911-013). (8) Put the flange of the the oil tank breather tube (2) over the pressurization valve (13) and align the bolt holes.
(9) Put the bracket (5) in to position on the flange of the oil tank breather tube (2).
(10) Install the washer (3) and the three bolts (6).
(11) TORQUE the three bolts (6) to between 105 and 85 lbf.in (1.19 and 0.96 m.daN )
(Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-911-013). (12) Connect the oil tube (11) to the oil tube (1).
(13) TORQUE the tube connector to between 513 and 478 lbf.in (5.80 and 5.40 m.daN )
(Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-911-013). Use the IAE1R18002 WRENCH. (14) Safety the tube connector with lockwire (Material No.V02-126) (Ref. AMM TASK 70-40-11-911-014).
