Permissible Wear - BushingSubtask 78-36-41-941-059-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than five minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On the ENG section of maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
Subtask 78-36-41-010-069-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to start the engine.

B. Get Access
(1) Open the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-040):

(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) in to position.

A. Close Access
(1) Installation of the access door.
(2) Install the access door which give access to the aft door latch.
(a) Secure with the bolt.
(b) TORQUE the bolt to between 44 and 36 lbf.in (0.50 and 0.41 m.daN ).
(4) Close the thrust reverser doors but do not make the thrust reverser serviceable (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-410-040):

Subtask 78-36-41-820-054-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Installation of the access door.
(2) Install the access door which give access to the aft door latch.
(a) Secure with the bolt.
(b) TORQUE the bolt to between 44 and 36 lbf.in (0.50 and 0.41 m.daN )
. NOTE: Apply a witness line of finish paint EA4 blue 5991 (Material No.CP2245) on all the nuts and connections when you have done check of their torques.
(3) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.(4) Close the thrust reverser doors but do not make the thrust reverser serviceable (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-410-040):

B. Adjustment
(1) If you have changed a door latch or a stirrup, adjust the half doors (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-41-820-040).
