A. Operational Test of the Pivoting Door Deploy Switch
(1) Method 1:
(a) Locate the beam harness (25) on the forward bulkhead of the thrust reverser half door.
(b) Disconnect the plug F1 (E1) from the receptacle F2 (E2) (30) on the beam harness (25).
1 Set the functional control of the OHMMETER MULTIRANGE to OHMS.
2 Set the range control to the R x 1 ohms range.
3 Set the OHMMETER MULTIRANGE to zero.
(d) Connect the leads of the ohmmeter.
a Manually open the upper and lower blocker doors to the fully deployed position. The dial on the OHMMETER MULTIRANGE will move to zero.
b While moving the upper and lower deploy switch lever laterally make sure that the OHMMETER MULTIRANGE remains at < 1 ohm. If the ohmmeter does not remain at < 1 ohm replace the deploy switch leverCMM 783236 .
c Manually close the upper blocker door to the fully stowed position. At the beginning of the blocker door movement, the dial on the OHMMETER MULTIRANGE will move to infinity.
