A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off. Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
(3) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) is in position.

A. Installation of the Blocker Doors Actuation Levers
Blocker Door Switch, Actuation Levers and Beam Electrical Harness PRE SB RA32078-39 ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
Blocker Door Switch, Actuation Levers and Beam Electrical Harness POST SB RA32078-39 ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
(1) Use a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) to make clean the outer lever.
(2) Use a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) to make clean the inner diameter of the bushing that the outer lever goes into.
(3) Put the outer lever into the bushing and make sure that it operates correctly.
(4) Install the outer lever into the bushing.
(5) Install the AIPC 78-31-17-01-040 LOCK WASHER (10) and the bolt.
(6) TORQUE the bolt to between 80 and 70 lbf.in (0.90 and 0.79 m.daN )

(7) Fold the lock washer to secure the bolt.
(8) Install the lower or upper blocker door (Ref. AMM TASK 78-32-41-400-040) or (Ref. AMM TASK 78-32-41-400-041).
PRE SB RA32078-39
(9) Install the trigger and attach with two bolts.
(10) TORQUE the bolts to between 40 and 35 lbf.in (0.45 and 0.40 m.daN )
POST SB RA32078-39
(11) Install the trigger and attach with the screw and the nut.
(12) TORQUE the nut to between 40 and 30 lbf.in (0.45 and 0.34 m.daN )

(13) Install the blocker door deploy switch (Ref. AMM TASK 78-31-17-400-040).
5. Close-up

Blocker Door Switch, Actuation Levers and Beam Electrical Harness POST SB RA32078-39 ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (2) Use a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) to make clean the inner diameter of the bushing that the outer lever goes into.
(3) Put the outer lever into the bushing and make sure that it operates correctly.
(4) Install the outer lever into the bushing.
(5) Install the AIPC 78-31-17-01-040 LOCK WASHER (10) and the bolt.
(6) TORQUE the bolt to between 80 and 70 lbf.in (0.90 and 0.79 m.daN )
. (7) Fold the lock washer to secure the bolt.
(8) Install the lower or upper blocker door (Ref. AMM TASK 78-32-41-400-040) or (Ref. AMM TASK 78-32-41-400-041).

(9) Install the trigger and attach with two bolts.
(10) TORQUE the bolts to between 40 and 35 lbf.in (0.45 and 0.40 m.daN )

POST SB RA32078-39
(11) Install the trigger and attach with the screw and the nut.
(12) TORQUE the nut to between 40 and 30 lbf.in (0.45 and 0.34 m.daN )

(13) Install the blocker door deploy switch (Ref. AMM TASK 78-31-17-400-040).

B. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-410-040):

(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
Subtask 78-31-17-710-055-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-410-040):
(a) FOR [1000EM1] (ENGINE-1)

(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
C. Do an operational test of the thrust reverser system from the CFDS (Ref. AMM TASK 78-31-00-710-040).
NOTE: As an alternative procedure, you can do this operational test without the CFDS:
- first method with engine stopped (Ref. AMM TASK 78-31-00-710-040)
- second method with engine in operation (Ref. AMM TASK 78-31-00-710-040)
