Subtask 78-31-17-210-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Detailed Visual Inspection of the Deploy Switches and Triggers.
   (1) Do a visual inspection of the deploy switch, the trigger and related hardware, and of the electrical connector using a FLASHLIGHT as follows:
NOTE: Levers and bushings that are removed due to corrosion, faulty operation or play discrepancies may be sent to the shop for repair, review and possible return to service CMM 783236 and CMM 783117.
   (2) No play should exist between the bushing and the lever.
NOTE: Determine if play exists between the switch lever and the bushing. This may affect electrical signal while the pivot door is in the deploy condition and may cause deploy signal failure (Ref. AMM TASK 78-31-17-710-002).
INSPECT/CHECK
MAXIMUM SERVICEABLE LIMITS
REMARKS
1.Examine the deploy switch for:

A.Damage
No damage permitted
If you find some damage, replace the deploy switch (Ref. AMM TASK 78-31-17-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 78-31-17-400-001).

D.Tightness
The blue mark of the deploy switch must be covered by the blue mark of the beam electrical harness connector.
If the blue mark of the pressure switch can be seen, tighten the electrical connector with PLIERS - NOSE, SOFT, LONG.
4.Examine the inner levers for:

A.Corrosion
None permitted
If the lever has corrosion, replace the inner lever (Ref. AMM TASK 78-31-17-000-003) and (Ref. AMM TASK 78-31-17-400-003).
