A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine shutdown occurred five minutes or more before you do this procedure.
(3) On overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to energize FADEC 1(2).

B. Get Access
(1) Open the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-040):
(a) FOR [1000EM1] (ENGINE-1)

(b) FOR [1000EM2] (ENGINE-2)

(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) in position on the right side of the engine.

C. Make the thrust reverser unserviceable (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-481-041).

D. Remove the blocker door deploy switch (Ref. AMM TASK 78-31-17-000-001).

4. Procedure
Subtask 78-31-17-020-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Removal of the Blocker Doors Actuation-Levers
(1) Remove the screw (60) and the nut (50) that attach the trigger (90).
(2) Remove the trigger (90).
(3) Remove the lower or upper blocker door (Ref. AMM TASK 78-32-41-000-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 78-32-41-000-002).
(4) Remove the bolt (20) and the lock washer (10) that attach the upper outer lever (30) and the upper inner lever (40).
(a) Discard the lock washer (10).
(5) Remove the bolt (20) and the lock washer (10) that attach the lower outer lever (160) and the lower inner lever (170).
(a) Discard the lock washer (10).
(6) Remove the upper inner lever (40) and the upper outer lever (30).
(7) Remove the lower inner lever (170) and the lower outer lever (160).
