A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

4. Procedure
Subtask 77-31-30-210-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Visual Inspection of the TRF Vibration Sensor:
(1) Disconnect the aircraft harness from the TRF sensor connector. Use PLIERS - CONNECTOR, JAW, SOFT only if necessary.

INSPECT/CHECK	MAXIMUM SERVICEABLE LIMITS	REMARKS
1.Examine the sensor accelerometer for:
A.Cracks in mounting flange	Not permitted	Replace TRF vibration sensor (Ref. AMM TASK 77-31-30-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 77-31-30-400-001).
2.Examine all the attachment points of the sensor to the engine for:
A.Loose bolts (accelerometer and lead)	Not permitted	TORQUE bolts as told in installation topic (Ref. AMM TASK 77-31-30-400-001)
B.Loose screws, missing half plate , broken or missing lockwire (connector end)	Not permitted	TORQUE screws, install half plate and lockwire as told in installation topic (Ref. AMM TASK 77-31-30-400-001)
3.Examine the braid of the lead for:
A.Chafing (wear) or fraying	Not permitted	Replace TRF vibration sensor (Ref. AMM TASK 77-31-30-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 77-31-30-400-001)

(2) Make sure that the connectors are clean and clear of unwanted materials.
(3) Connect the aircraft harness to the TRF sensor. Use PLIERS - CONNECTOR, JAW, SOFT only if necessary.
