A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Make sure that the ENG/MODE selector switch is in the NORM position.
(b) Make sure that the ENG/MASTER 1(2) control switch was in the OFF position not less than five minutes before you do this procedure.
(c) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) are in position to tell persons not to operate:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize FADEC 1(2).
Subtask 77-31-05-010-052-A (1) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU:

C. Deactivation of the Thrust Reverser System for Maintenance
Subtask 77-31-05-010-053-A WARNING:
YOU MUST DEACTIVATE THE THRUST REVERSER BEFORE YOU DO WORK ON OR AROUND IT. IF YOU DO NOT, THE THRUST REVERSER CAN OPERATE ACCIDENTALLY AND CAUSE AN INJURY AND/OR DAMAGE.
(1) Make sure that you did the deactivation of the thrust reverser system for maintenance (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-040-809). D. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the thrust reverser cowl-doors are open (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-010-806):

A. Installation of the Turbine Center Frame Accelerometer (PRE SB 72-0036)
(2) Put the turbine center frame accelerometer (2) and accelerometer mount (3) in position on the engine.
(3) Apply engine oil (Material No.CP2442) on the threads of the three bolts (1).
(4) Install the three bolts (1) that attach the turbine center frame accelerometer (2), accelerometer mount (3) and support bracket (5) to the fourth stage air manifold (4).
(5) Apply engine oil (Material No.CP2442) on the threads of the two bolts (23).
(6) Install the two bolts (23) that attach the turbine center frame accelerometer (2) to the support bracket (24).
(7) Install the turbine center frame accelerometer (2) cable loop clamps as follows:
(a) Apply engine oil (Material No.CP2442) on the threads of the bolt (7), bolt (9), bolt (11), bolt (15), bolt (17) and bolt (19).
(b) Install the bolt (19) that attaches the loop clamp (21) and turbine center frame accelerometer (2) cable to the support bracket (20) and tighten it with your hand.
(c) Install the bolt (17) that attaches the loop clamp (16) and turbine center frame accelerometer (2) cable to the support bracket (18) and tighten it with your hand.
(d) Install the bolt (15) that attaches the loop clamp (14) and turbine center frame accelerometer (2) cable to the support bracket (13) and tighten it with your hand.
(e) Install the bolt (11) that attaches the loop clamp (12) and turbine center frame accelerometer (2) cable to the support bracket (13) and tighten it with your hand.
(f) Install the bolt (9) that attaches the loop clamp (10) and turbine center frame accelerometer (2) cable to the support bracket (8) and tighten it with your hand.
(g) Install the bolt (7) that attaches the loop clamp (6) and turbine center frame accelerometer (2) cable to the support bracket (5) and tighten it with your hand.
(8) TORQUE the three bolts (1) that attach the turbine center frame accelerometer (2), accelerometer mount (3) and support bracket (5) to the fourth stage air manifold (4) to between 124 and 106 lbf.in (1.40 and 1.20 m.daN )

(9) TORQUE the two bolts (23) that attach the turbine center frame accelerometer (2) to the support bracket (24) to between 124 and 106 lbf.in (1.40 and 1.20 m.daN )
.
(10) Connect the electrical connector (22) to the turbine center frame accelerometer (2). Tighten the coupling. Use PLIERS - JAWED, SOFT if necessary.
(11) TORQUE the turbine center frame accelerometer (2) cable loop clamp bolt (19), bolt (17), bolt (15), bolt (11), bolt (9) and bolt (7) to between 38 and 32 lbf.in (0.43 and 0.36 m.daN )

Subtask 77-31-05-420-053-A WARNING:
USE PERSONAL PROTECTION EQUIPMENT. USE THE ENGINE OIL IN A WELL-VENTILATED AREA. ENGINE OIL IS TOXIC.
(1) Remove all protective COVER - PROTECTION and CAP - PROTECTION from the openings, tubes, hoses and connectors. (2) Put the turbine center frame accelerometer (2) and accelerometer mount (3) in position on the engine.
(3) Apply engine oil (Material No.CP2442) on the threads of the three bolts (1).
(4) Install the three bolts (1) that attach the turbine center frame accelerometer (2), accelerometer mount (3) and support bracket (5) to the fourth stage air manifold (4).
(5) Apply engine oil (Material No.CP2442) on the threads of the two bolts (23).
(6) Install the two bolts (23) that attach the turbine center frame accelerometer (2) to the support bracket (24).
(7) Install the turbine center frame accelerometer (2) cable loop clamps as follows:
(a) Apply engine oil (Material No.CP2442) on the threads of the bolt (7), bolt (9), bolt (11), bolt (15), bolt (17) and bolt (19).
(b) Install the bolt (19) that attaches the loop clamp (21) and turbine center frame accelerometer (2) cable to the support bracket (20) and tighten it with your hand.
(c) Install the bolt (17) that attaches the loop clamp (16) and turbine center frame accelerometer (2) cable to the support bracket (18) and tighten it with your hand.
(d) Install the bolt (15) that attaches the loop clamp (14) and turbine center frame accelerometer (2) cable to the support bracket (13) and tighten it with your hand.
(e) Install the bolt (11) that attaches the loop clamp (12) and turbine center frame accelerometer (2) cable to the support bracket (13) and tighten it with your hand.
(f) Install the bolt (9) that attaches the loop clamp (10) and turbine center frame accelerometer (2) cable to the support bracket (8) and tighten it with your hand.
(g) Install the bolt (7) that attaches the loop clamp (6) and turbine center frame accelerometer (2) cable to the support bracket (5) and tighten it with your hand.
(8) TORQUE the three bolts (1) that attach the turbine center frame accelerometer (2), accelerometer mount (3) and support bracket (5) to the fourth stage air manifold (4) to between 124 and 106 lbf.in (1.40 and 1.20 m.daN )
. (9) TORQUE the two bolts (23) that attach the turbine center frame accelerometer (2) to the support bracket (24) to between 124 and 106 lbf.in (1.40 and 1.20 m.daN )
. (10) Connect the electrical connector (22) to the turbine center frame accelerometer (2). Tighten the coupling. Use PLIERS - JAWED, SOFT if necessary.
(11) TORQUE the turbine center frame accelerometer (2) cable loop clamp bolt (19), bolt (17), bolt (15), bolt (11), bolt (9) and bolt (7) to between 38 and 32 lbf.in (0.43 and 0.36 m.daN )
. B. Installation of the Turbine Center Frame Accelerometer (POST SB 72-0036)
(2) Put the turbine center frame accelerometer (2) and accelerometer mount (3) in position on the engine.
(3) Apply engine oil (Material No.CP2442) on the threads of the three bolts (1).
(4) Install the three bolts (1) that attach the turbine center frame accelerometer (2), accelerometer mount (3) and support bracket (5) to the fourth stage air manifold (4).
(5) Apply engine oil (Material No.CP2442) on the threads of the two bolts (21).
(6) Install the two bolts (21) that attach the turbine center frame accelerometer (2) to the support bracket (22).
(7) Install the turbine center frame accelerometer (2) cable loop clamps as follows:
(a) Apply engine oil (Material No.CP2442) on the threads of the bolt (7), bolt (9), bolts (11), bolt (15) and bolt (18).
(b) Install the two bolts (18) that attaches the two loop clamps (19) and the turbine center frame accelerometer (2) cable to the support bracket (17).
(c) Install the bolt (15) that attaches the loop clamp (14) and turbine center frame accelerometer (2) cable to the support bracket (16) and tighten it with your hand.
(d) Install the two bolts (11) that attaches the two loop clamps (12) and the turbine center frame accelerometer (2) cable to the support bracket (13).
(e) Install the bolt (9) that attaches the loop clamp (10) and turbine center frame accelerometer (2) cable to the support bracket (8) and tighten it with your hand.
(f) Install the bolt (7) that attaches the loop clamp (6) and turbine center frame accelerometer (2) cable to the support bracket (5) and tighten it with your hand.
(8) TORQUE the three bolts (1) that attach the turbine center frame accelerometer (2), accelerometer mount (3) and support bracket (5) to the fourth stage air manifold (4) to between 124 and 106 lbf.in (1.40 and 1.20 m.daN )

(9) TORQUE the two bolts (21) that attach the turbine center frame accelerometer (2) to the support bracket (22) to between 124 and 106 lbf.in (1.40 and 1.20 m.daN )
.
(10) Connect the electrical connector (20) to the turbine center frame accelerometer (2). Tighten the coupling. Use PLIERS - JAWED, SOFT if necessary.
(11) TORQUE the turbine center frame accelerometer (2) cable loop clamp bolt (18), bolt (15), bolt (11), bolt (9) and bolt (7) to between 38 and 32 lbf.in (0.43 and 0.36 m.daN )

(a) Apply engine oil (Material No.CP2442) on the threads of the bolt (7), bolt (9), bolts (11), bolt (15) and bolt (18).
(b) Install the two bolts (18) that attaches the two loop clamps (19) and the turbine center frame accelerometer (2) cable to the support bracket (17).
(c) Install the bolt (15) that attaches the loop clamp (14) and turbine center frame accelerometer (2) cable to the support bracket (16) and tighten it with your hand.
(d) Install the two bolts (11) that attaches the two loop clamps (12) and the turbine center frame accelerometer (2) cable to the support bracket (13).
(e) Install the bolt (9) that attaches the loop clamp (10) and turbine center frame accelerometer (2) cable to the support bracket (8) and tighten it with your hand.
(f) Install the bolt (7) that attaches the loop clamp (6) and turbine center frame accelerometer (2) cable to the support bracket (5) and tighten it with your hand.
(8) TORQUE the three bolts (1) that attach the turbine center frame accelerometer (2), accelerometer mount (3) and support bracket (5) to the fourth stage air manifold (4) to between 124 and 106 lbf.in (1.40 and 1.20 m.daN )
.(9) TORQUE the two bolts (21) that attach the turbine center frame accelerometer (2) to the support bracket (22) to between 124 and 106 lbf.in (1.40 and 1.20 m.daN )
.(10) Connect the electrical connector (20) to the turbine center frame accelerometer (2). Tighten the coupling. Use PLIERS - JAWED, SOFT if necessary.
(11) TORQUE the turbine center frame accelerometer (2) cable loop clamp bolt (18), bolt (15), bolt (11), bolt (9) and bolt (7) to between 38 and 32 lbf.in (0.43 and 0.36 m.daN )

(1) If necessary, install the ECS upper duct (Ref. AMM TASK 36-11-49-400-827).
