Throttle Control Unit - Access and LocationSubtask 76-11-19-860-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position.
(2) Make sure that the throttle control levers are set to idle (0 degree TLA).
(3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off. Make sure that a warning notice is in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

D. Inspection of the bolt
(1) Make sure that the bush (3) is correctly bonded to the bolt (2).
(2) If necessary, bond the bush (3) to the bolt (2) with Loctite 675 (Material No.CP2188)
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the bush (3) is correctly bonded to the bolt (2).
(2) If necessary, bond the bush (3) to the bolt (2) with Loctite 675 (Material No.CP2188)
Subtask 76-11-19-420-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Throttle Control Unit.
(1) Remove all the blanking caps from the connectors.
(2) Install the throttle control unit 8KS1 (8KS2) (11) on its support.
(3) Install the three bolts (1) with the washers (10) and the nuts (9). Tighten the bolts (1).
(4) Install the three new AIPC 76-11-01-03-010 COTTER PINS (8)
(5) Engage the rod (4) in the fork of the throttle control unit (11).
(6) Attach the rod to the fork with the bolt (2) on which the bush (3), the washer (7) and the nut (6) are assembled. Tighten the bolt.
Subtask 76-11-19-820-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove all the blanking caps from the connectors.
(2) Install the throttle control unit 8KS1 (8KS2) (11) on its support.
(3) Install the three bolts (1) with the washers (10) and the nuts (9). Tighten the bolts (1).
(4) Install the three new AIPC 76-11-01-03-010 COTTER PINS (8)
(5) Engage the rod (4) in the fork of the throttle control unit (11).
(6) Attach the rod to the fork with the bolt (2) on which the bush (3), the washer (7) and the nut (6) are assembled. Tighten the bolt.
B. Make sure that you can easily install and remove the 98DNSA20206080 RIGGING PIN (14). If not adjust the rod (4) (Ref. AMM TASK 76-11-00-820-044).
Subtask 76-11-19-420-055-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL C. Install cotter pin and connectors
(1) Install a new AIPC 76-11-01-02-010 COTTER PIN (5).
(2) Connect the five electrical connectors (12). Tighten electrical connector fingertight plus one-eight turn with PLIERS - NOSE, SOFT, LONG.
Subtask 76-11-19-080-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Install a new AIPC 76-11-01-02-010 COTTER PIN (5).
(2) Connect the five electrical connectors (12). Tighten electrical connector fingertight plus one-eight turn with PLIERS - NOSE, SOFT, LONG.
D. Remove the rigging pin (13) from the artificial feel unit.
Subtask 76-11-19-869-060-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL E. Check of the Throttle Control Unit installation
(1) With the throttle control lever in idle position:
(a) Move the thrust reverser control lever to the full reverse position, then back to the idle position. Make sure that there are no hard and/or blocking points over the full travel range.
