B. Safety Precautions
(1) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to move the slat and flap control lever.
(2) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(3) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than five minutes before you do this procedure.
(4) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
Subtask 76-11-19-010-056-A Subtask 76-11-19-869-063-A (1) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to move the slat and flap control lever.

(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to start the engine.

D. Make sure that the throttle control levers are set to idle (0 degree Throttle Lever Angle (TLA)).
4. ProcedureSubtask 76-11-19-020-056-A
A. Disconnect Connectors
(1) Disconnect the five connectors (12).
(2) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.

(2) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
C. Removal of the Throttle Control Unit.
(2) Remove the nut (6), washer (7) and bolt (2). Make sure that the bush (3) stays bonded to the bolt (2).
(3) Remove and discard the three cotter pins (8).
(4) Remove the three nuts (9), washers (10) and bolts (1) that attach the throttle control unit 8KS1 (8KS2) (11) to its support.
(5) Remove the throttle control unit 8KS1 (8KS2)(11).
WARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL A COTTER PIN. EACH TIME YOU REMOVE A COTTER PIN DURING THE TASK, DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. A LOOSE COTTER PIN CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND.
(1) Remove and discard the cotter pin (5). (2) Remove the nut (6), washer (7) and bolt (2). Make sure that the bush (3) stays bonded to the bolt (2).
(3) Remove and discard the three cotter pins (8).
(4) Remove the three nuts (9), washers (10) and bolts (1) that attach the throttle control unit 8KS1 (8KS2) (11) to its support.
(5) Remove the throttle control unit 8KS1 (8KS2)(11).
