Subtask 76-11-19-941-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
(4) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE

D. Make sure that the throttle control levers are set to idle (0 deg.TLA).

A. Disconnect the five connectors (12).
(1) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.

B. Install the 98DNSA20208150 RIGGING PIN (98DNSA0208080) (13) in the artificial feel unit of the throttle control.
Subtask 76-11-19-020-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL C. Removal of the Throttle Control Unit.
(1) Remove and discard the cotter pin (5).
(2) Remove the nut (6), the washer (7) and the bolt (2). Make sure that the bush (3) stays bonded to the bolt (2).
(3) Remove and discard the three cotter pins (8).
(4) Remove the three nuts (9), washers (10) and bolts (1) which attach the throttle control unit (11) to its support.
(5) Remove the throttle control unit 8KS1 (8KS2)(11).
(1) Remove and discard the cotter pin (5).
(2) Remove the nut (6), the washer (7) and the bolt (2). Make sure that the bush (3) stays bonded to the bolt (2).
(3) Remove and discard the three cotter pins (8).
(4) Remove the three nuts (9), washers (10) and bolts (1) which attach the throttle control unit (11) to its support.
(5) Remove the throttle control unit 8KS1 (8KS2)(11).
