B. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position
(2) Open the access door 811

C. Make sure that the throttle control levers are set to idle (0 degree TLA).

4. Procedure

A. Disconnect connectors:
(1) Disconnect the five connectors (12).
(2) Put CAP - BLANKING on the disconnected electrical connectors.

B. Install the 98DNSA20208150 RIGGING PIN (13) in the artificial feel unit of the throttle control.

C. Removal of the throttle control unit
(1) Remove and discard the cotter pin (5).
(2) Remove the nut (6), the washer (7) and the bolt (2). Make sure that the bush (3) stays bonded to the bolt (2).
(3) Remove and discard the three cotter pins (8).
(4) Remove the three nuts (9), washers (10) and bolts (1) which attach the throttle control unit (11) to its support.
(5) Remove the throttle control unit 8KS1 (8KS2) (11).
