3. Job Set-up
Subtask 75-34-20-941-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

B. Get Access
(1) Open the fan cowl doors: (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-040)
(a) FOR [1000EM1] (ENGINE-1)

(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) in position.

C. Make the thrust reverser unserviceable (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-481-041).

4. Procedure
Subtask 75-34-20-020-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Remove the one bolt (100) and one nut (110) from the tube clamp (120) that attach the static pressure tube (20) to the attachment bracket (130).
(1) Remove the one bolt (60) and one nut (90) from the tube clamps (70) that attach the static pressure tube (20) and the total pressure tube (30) to the attachment bracket (80).
(2) Disconnect the total pressure tube (30) and the static pressure tube (20) from the Bleed Vias Venturi (10).
(3) Put PLUG - BLANKING on the tube ends and inlet ports of the Bleed Bias Venturi (10).
(4) Remove the 4 bolts (50) that attach the Bleed Bias Venturi (10) to the stage 9 bleed port.
(5) Remove the Bleed Bias Venturi (10) and seal ring (40) from the stage 9 bleed port.
(6) Install a COVER - PROTECTION on the stage bleed port to prevent FOD damage.
