A. Installation of the Bleed Bias Transducer.
(1) Align the Bleed Bias Transducer (10) to the attachment bracket. Install and hand tighten the 4 bolts (40). Do not torque the bolts at this time.
(2) Install the tube clamps (60, 80, 90 and 110) around the Sleeves (70 and 100). Install the 1 bolt (50) thru the clamps (60, 80, 90 and 110) into the attachment bracket (130). Do not torque at this time.
(3) TORQUE the 4 bolts (40) to between 111 and 101 lbf.in (1.25 and 1.14 m.daN )
.
(4) Remove the blancking caps from the Transducer (10) and the electric leads (140 and 150).
(5) Install the longest lead of the J15 harness to the aft connector of the Bleed Bias Transducer (10). Use a PLIERS - JAWED, SOFT.
(6) Install the shorter lead of the J15 harness to the fwd connector of the Bleed Bias Transducer (10). Use a PLIERS - JAWED, SOFT.
(7) Install the static pressure tube (20) and the total pressure tube (30) finger tight on to the Bleed Bias Transducer. Do not torque the bolts at this time.
(8) TORQUE the large B-nut on the static pressure tube (20) to between 290 and 270 lbf.in (3.28 and 3.05 m.daN )
.
(9) TORQUE the small B-nut on the total pressure tube (30) to between 145 and 135 lbf.in (1.64 and 1.53 m.daN )
