Subtask 75-31-70-941-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.

B. Removal of the VBV Position Sensor:
PRE SB CFM 75-045

(1) Disconnect the 2 electrical cables.
(2) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(3) Remove the nut (30) and the straight-headed pin (60) which secures the feedback rod clevis to VBV sensor arm.

(4) Remove the 3 bolts (50) which secure the VBV sensor to stop mechanism and remove the sensor.

(5) Remove the bolt (55) which secure the bonding strap to VBV sensor.
(6) Remove the 2 bolts (50) which secure the VBV sensor to stop mechanism and remove the sensor.

(1) Disconnect the 2 electrical cables.

NOTE: Do not loosen nut (10) securing clevis (40) to feedback rod.

(4) Remove the 3 bolts (50) which secure the VBV sensor to stop mechanism and remove the sensor.

(5) Remove the bolt (55) which secure the bonding strap to VBV sensor.
(6) Remove the 2 bolts (50) which secure the VBV sensor to stop mechanism and remove the sensor.
