C. Deactivation of the Thrust Reverser System for Ground Maintenance
Subtask 75-24-41-010-061-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:
YOU MUST DEACTIVATE THE THRUST REVERSER BEFORE YOU DO WORK ON OR AROUND IT. IF YOU DO NOT, THE THRUST REVERSER CAN OPERATE ACCIDENTALLY AND CAUSE AN INJURY AND/OR DAMAGE.
(1) Make sure that you did the deactivation of the thrust reverser system for ground maintenance (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-040-805). D. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the right thrust-reverser cowl-door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-010-802):

4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the right thrust-reverser cowl-door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-010-802):

CAUTION:
DO NOT LET THE THERMAL INSULATION BLANKETS BECOME WET. FLUIDS CAN GO INTO THE VENT HOLES OF THE BLANKETS AND MAKE THE INSULATION UNSATISFACTORY.
CAUTION:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU MOVE THE THERMAL INSULATION BLANKETS. IF YOU DO NOT HOLD THE BLANKETS CORRECTLY, THEY CAN FOLD BECAUSE OF THEIR OWN WEIGHT.
DO NOT STEP ON OR PUT OBJECTS ON THE BLANKETS.
DO NOT PUT THE BLANKETS ON SURFACES THAT CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
HOLD THE BLANKETS ON THEIR THICKEST PARTS.
IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THESE INSTRUCTIONS, DAMAGE TO THE BLANKETS CAN OCCUR.
Subtask 75-24-41-420-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL A. Installation of the ACC Heat Shield Blankets
(1) Put the upper ACC shield blanket (3) in position on the ACC duct.
(2) Install the lower ACC shield blanket (2) on the upper ACC shield blanket (3) with the four retainers (1).
(3) TORQUE the four retainers (1) to between 17.0 and 15.0 lbf.in (0.19 and 0.17 m.daN )

5. Close-up(1) Put the upper ACC shield blanket (3) in position on the ACC duct.
(2) Install the lower ACC shield blanket (2) on the upper ACC shield blanket (3) with the four retainers (1).
(3) TORQUE the four retainers (1) to between 17.0 and 15.0 lbf.in (0.19 and 0.17 m.daN )
