A. Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).

B. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
(b) Make sure that the ENG/MASTER CONTROL SWITCH is in OFF position.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

E. Do the EIS start procedure (upper and lower ECAM DU's only) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
(1) Make sure that on the SD fuel page the LP valve is shown closed.

F. Get Access
(1) Open the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-040):
(a) FOR [1000EM1] (ENGINE-1)

(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) in position.

4. Procedure
Subtask 73-34-15-020-052-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Removal of the Fuel Filter Differential Pressure Switch

Fuel Filter Differential Pressure Switch ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

(1) Disconnect the electrical connector 4000EL-A from the fuel-filter differential-pressure switch (20).
(2) Cut the lockwire and remove the thermal blanket (5) from the switch (20).
(3) Put a COVER - PROTECTION on the electrical connector.
(4) Put a CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) below the switch (20). Disconnect the fuel tubes (35) and (40) from the switch and let the fuel drain.
(5) Remove the unions (30) and packings (25) from the switch (20). Discard the packings (25).
(6) Remove the bolts (10) and washers (15) from the switch (20). Remove the switch from the bracket.
(7) Put a COVER - PROTECTION on the unions, the switch and the fuel tubes
