A. Do this Test:
(2) Make sure that the fault that you try to find does not come on the ECAM warning display.
(3) Stop the engine (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-710-028).
5. Close-upNOTE: This procedure is applicable to do the check of all the faults, but not of the position faults. If one of the position faults occurred before, during a leg (VBV, VSV, FMV, LPTC, HPTC, RAC): - do an engine run at 50 percent N1, in two steps.
The first step must be a slow accel to 50 percent N1 (in approximately 20 - 30 seconds). The second step must be the normal fast accel to 50 percent N1. You must do 2 runs because with a cross channel disconnected, there is no longer redundancy: so if the fault was not cleared, the engine can stall on a fast accel.
(1) Start the engine (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-710-003) and let it become stable at minimum idle.
(2) Make sure that the fault that you try to find does not come on the ECAM warning display.
(3) Stop the engine (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-710-028).
