C. Deactivation of the Thrust Reverser for Maintenance

WARNING: YOU MUST DEACTIVATE THE THRUST REVERSER BEFORE YOU DO WORK ON OR AROUND IT. IF YOU DO NOT, THE THRUST REVERSER CAN OPERATE ACCIDENTALLY AND CAUSE AN INJURY AND/OR DAMAGE.

4. Procedure

CAUTION: WIPE CLEAN ALL PARTS AND TOOLS AS NECESSARY TO REMOVE UNWANTED DEBRIS AND PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.

Subtask 73-11-00-210-058-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Do a visual inspection of the igniter cable in the area adjacent to the FH01 tube for chafing as follows: See Table 601.
(1) Examine the fuel pressure tube (FH01) for clearance and chafing with the igniter cable.
(a) If the clearance is not in the specified limits, adjust the cable length through the spring clips to make more clearance with the tube.

Fuel pressure tube (FH01)	Chafing	Visual indications of chafing between the tube (FH01) and igniter cable are not permitted.
	Clearance	The clearance between the tube (FH01) sections with no support and the igniter cable must be a minimum of 0.12 in. (3.05 mm).

(2) Examine the assembly for foreign objects, damage and correct assembly.
