A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off. Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
(3) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position.
Subtask 72-23-00-010-082-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.

A. Installation of the PS13 Line
(1) Install the PS13 tube as follows:
(a) Set the PS13 tube in position on the fan frame, along flange H.
(b) Lubricate the threads of the PS13 nipple with molykote G rapid (Material No.CP2104) .
(c) Connect the PS13 tube (10) to the PS13 boss nipple. Tighten the connecting nut by hand.
(d) Lubricate the threads of the bolts with graphite grease (Material No.CP2101) .
(e) Attach the PS13 tube as follows:
(2) Install the PS13 hose (20) as follows:
(a) Lubricate the threads of unions with molykote G rapid (Material No.CP2104) .
(3) Connect the PS13 hose (20) to the PS13 tube (10) and to the PS13 nipple on ECU. Tighten the connecting nuts by hand.
(4) Make sure that the tubes are not stressed.
(5) Torque the connecting nuts:
and safety with CP8001 lockwire 0.032 in. (0.8 mm) dia. or CP8002 lockwire 0.032 in. (0.8 mm) dia .
(b) TORQUE the nuts (50) and (130) to between 55 and 50 lbf.in (0.62 and 0.57 m.daN )

5. Close-up(1) Install the PS13 tube as follows:
(a) Set the PS13 tube in position on the fan frame, along flange H.
(b) Lubricate the threads of the PS13 nipple with molykote G rapid (Material No.CP2104) .
(c) Connect the PS13 tube (10) to the PS13 boss nipple. Tighten the connecting nut by hand.
(d) Lubricate the threads of the bolts with graphite grease (Material No.CP2101) .
(e) Attach the PS13 tube as follows:

(a) Lubricate the threads of unions with molykote G rapid (Material No.CP2104) .
(3) Connect the PS13 hose (20) to the PS13 tube (10) and to the PS13 nipple on ECU. Tighten the connecting nuts by hand.
(4) Make sure that the tubes are not stressed.
(5) Torque the connecting nuts:
CAUTION:
USE 2 WRENCHES TO REMOVE/INSTALL THE TUBE UNION NUT: ONE TO HOLD THE FITTING, THE OTHER TO LOOSE/TORQUE THE NUT. OTHERWISE, DAMAGE TO THE HARDWARE CAN OCCUR.
(a) TORQUE the connnecting nuts to between 150 and 135 lbf.in (1.70 and 1.53 m.daN )
and safety with (b) TORQUE the nuts (50) and (130) to between 55 and 50 lbf.in (0.62 and 0.57 m.daN )

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-410-040):

(5) Remove the access platform(s).
(6) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-410-040):
