A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
   (2) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off. Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
   (3) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position.

B. Make sure that the fan cowl doors are open (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-040):

C. Make sure that the Electronic Control Unit (ECU) is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 73-21-60-000-001).
4. Procedure

A. Installation of the PS12 Line
CAUTION: USE 2 WRENCHES TO REMOVE/INSTALL THE TUBE UNION NUT: ONE TO HOLD THE FITTING, THE OTHER TO LOOSE/TORQUE THE NUT. OTHERWISE, DAMAGE TO THE HARDWARE CAN OCCUR.
   (1) Install the PS12 line in position on the engine.
   (2) Lubricate the threads of the fan frame bosses with engine fuel.
   (3) Connect the PS12 line to the fan frame nipples.
   (4) Tighten the connecting nuts by hand.
   (5) Lubricate the threads of the bolts with graphite grease (Material No.CP2101) .

   (8) Distribute the slack all along the line.
   (9) TORQUE the nuts to between 53 and 47 lbf.in (0.60 and 0.53 m.daN ) T.
   (10) Torque the fan frame nipples. See sheet 6 of the figure

CAUTION: BEFORE YOU TIGHTEN THE NUTS OF PS12 TUBES ON THE FAN FRAME NIPPLES, MAKE SURE THE TUBES ARE NOT STRESSED AND THE ELBOW ORIENTATION IS CORRECT.
     (a) TORQUE the fan frame nipples to between 150 and 135 lbf.in (1.70 and 1.53 m.daN ) T.
   (11) Safety with CP8001lockwire 0.032 in. (0.8 mm) dia. or CP8002lockwire 0.032 in. (0.8 mm) dia.

B. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Close the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-410-040):
