Subtask 71-73-49-860-053-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off. Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
Subtask 71-73-49-010-071-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off. Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

Subtask 71-73-49-420-055-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Fireshield to Fuel Servos Drain Tube
(1) Remove the protective covers from the fireshield fitting and the drain tubes (20) and (30).
(2) Connect the drain tube (30) to the fitting on the fireshield. Do not torque the coupling nut at this time.
(3) Connect the drain tube (30) to the drain tube (20). Do not torque the coupling nut at this time.
(4) Attach the drain tube (30) to the clamp with the bolt (25), the nut (15) and the clamp (5).
(5) Make sure that the drain tube (30) is aligned correctly on the engine.
(6) TORQUE the nut (15) to between 25 and 20 lbf.in (0.28 and 0.23 m.daN )

(7) Torque the drain tube coupling nuts.

Subtask 71-73-49-420-070-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the protective covers from the fireshield fitting and the drain tubes (20) and (30).
(2) Connect the drain tube (30) to the fitting on the fireshield. Do not torque the coupling nut at this time.
(3) Connect the drain tube (30) to the drain tube (20). Do not torque the coupling nut at this time.
(4) Attach the drain tube (30) to the clamp with the bolt (25), the nut (15) and the clamp (5).
(5) Make sure that the drain tube (30) is aligned correctly on the engine.
(6) TORQUE the nut (15) to between 25 and 20 lbf.in (0.28 and 0.23 m.daN )
. (7) Torque the drain tube coupling nuts.
CAUTION:
USE A SECOND WRENCH TO APPLY COUNTER TORQUE TO THE TUBES WHEN YOU CONNECT THE LOWER TUBES TO THE UPPER TUBES.
(a) TORQUE the drain tube (30) coupling nuts to between 250 and 200 lbf.in (2.83 and 2.26 m.daN )
. B. Installation of the Fuel Servos Drain Tube
(1) Remove the protective covers from all the drain tubes.
(2) Connect the fuel servos drain tube (20) to the tube. Do not torque the coupling nut at this time.
(3) Connect the drain tube (20) to the heat exchanger drain tube. Do not torque the coupling nut at this time.
(4) Connect the drain tube (30) to the drain tube (20). Do not torque the coupling nut at this time.
(5) Attach the tube (20) to the bracket on the transfer gearbox with the clamp (5), the bolt (10) and the nut (15).
(6) Make sure that the drain tube (20) is aligned correctly on the engine.
(7) TORQUE the nut (15) to between 25 and 20 lbf.in (0.28 and 0.23 m.daN )

(8) Torque the drain tubes and coupling nuts.

5. Close-up(1) Remove the protective covers from all the drain tubes.
(2) Connect the fuel servos drain tube (20) to the tube. Do not torque the coupling nut at this time.
(3) Connect the drain tube (20) to the heat exchanger drain tube. Do not torque the coupling nut at this time.
(4) Connect the drain tube (30) to the drain tube (20). Do not torque the coupling nut at this time.
(5) Attach the tube (20) to the bracket on the transfer gearbox with the clamp (5), the bolt (10) and the nut (15).
(6) Make sure that the drain tube (20) is aligned correctly on the engine.
(7) TORQUE the nut (15) to between 25 and 20 lbf.in (0.28 and 0.23 m.daN )
. (8) Torque the drain tubes and coupling nuts.
CAUTION:
USE A SECOND WRENCH TO HOLD THE FITTINGS WHEN YOU LOOSEN/TIGHTEN THE TUBE COUPLING NUTS. THIS PREVENTS DAMAGE TO THE TUBES.
