A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
Subtask 71-73-49-010-056-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.

Subtask 71-73-49-020-055-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the Fireshield to Fuel Servos Drain Tube
(1) Put a CONTAINER 1 L (1/4 USGAL) below the fireshield to fuel servos drain tube (30) to catch any fuel remaining in the tubes.
(2) Disconnect the drain tube (30) from the drain tube (20) and let the fluid drain into the container.
(3) Remove the bolt (25), the nut (15) and the clamp (5) that attach the drain tube (30).
(4) Remove the drain tube (30) from the engine.
(5) Put COVER - PROTECTION on the fireshield fitting, and the drain tubes (20) and (30).
(6) Remove the container from below the engine.
Subtask 71-73-49-020-070-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Put a CONTAINER 1 L (1/4 USGAL) below the fireshield to fuel servos drain tube (30) to catch any fuel remaining in the tubes.
(2) Disconnect the drain tube (30) from the drain tube (20) and let the fluid drain into the container.
(3) Remove the bolt (25), the nut (15) and the clamp (5) that attach the drain tube (30).
(4) Remove the drain tube (30) from the engine.
(5) Put COVER - PROTECTION on the fireshield fitting, and the drain tubes (20) and (30).
(6) Remove the container from below the engine.
B. Removal of the Fuel Servos Drain Tube
(1) Put a CONTAINER 1 L (1/4 USGAL) below the drain mast to catch any fuel remaining in the tubes.
(2) Disconnect the fuel servos drain tube (20) from the heat exchanger drain tube and let the fluid drain into the container.
(3) Disconnect the fireshield to servos drain tube (30) from the drain tube (20).
(4) Disconnect the drain tube (20) from the CFMI supplied tube.
(5) Remove the bolt (10), the nut (15) and the clamp (5) that attach the drain tube (20) to the bracket on the transfer gearbox.
(6) Remove the drain tube (20) from the engine.
(7) Put COVER - PROTECTION on all the tubes and fittings.
(8) Remove the container from below the drain mast.
(1) Put a CONTAINER 1 L (1/4 USGAL) below the drain mast to catch any fuel remaining in the tubes.
(2) Disconnect the fuel servos drain tube (20) from the heat exchanger drain tube and let the fluid drain into the container.
(3) Disconnect the fireshield to servos drain tube (30) from the drain tube (20).
(4) Disconnect the drain tube (20) from the CFMI supplied tube.
(5) Remove the bolt (10), the nut (15) and the clamp (5) that attach the drain tube (20) to the bracket on the transfer gearbox.
(6) Remove the drain tube (20) from the engine.
(7) Put COVER - PROTECTION on all the tubes and fittings.
(8) Remove the container from below the drain mast.
