BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DO WORK ON THE ENGINE PARTS AFTER THE ENGINE SHUTDOWN. USE APPLICABLE THERMAL GLOVES. THE ENGINE PARTS CAN STAY HOT FOR ONE HOUR AFTER SHUTDOWN AND CAN BURN YOU.

ALWAYS USE APPLICABLE GLOVES TO TOUCH HOT PARTS. HOT PARTS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS.

A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Make sure that the ENG/MODE selector switch is in the NORM position.
(b) Make sure that the ENG/MASTER 1(2) control switch was in the OFF position not less than five minutes before you do this procedure.
(c) Put WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to energize FADEC 1(2).
Subtask 71-60-00-010-052-A (1) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU:

B. Get Access
(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position near the air inlet.
4. Procedure(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position near the air inlet.

A. Deactivation of the Air Inlet Hoisting Point Plugs
(1) Clean the area around the hoisting points with a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with general Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
(2) Apply the Adhesive Film Tape-- Aluminium Foil - (Material No.05RAB9) on the hoisting points. Smooth out from the edges to remove air pockets. Press the edges of the tape down tightly.
(3) Examine the Adhesive Film Tape-- Aluminium Foil - (Material No.05RAB9) regularly (specially after dispatch with Nacelle Anti-Icing (NAI) locked open) and change the Adhesive Film Tape-- Aluminium Foil - (Material No.05RAB9) when damaged.
5. Close-up(1) Clean the area around the hoisting points with a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with general Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
(2) Apply the Adhesive Film Tape-- Aluminium Foil - (Material No.05RAB9) on the hoisting points. Smooth out from the edges to remove air pockets. Press the edges of the tape down tightly.
(3) Examine the Adhesive Film Tape-- Aluminium Foil - (Material No.05RAB9) regularly (specially after dispatch with Nacelle Anti-Icing (NAI) locked open) and change the Adhesive Film Tape-- Aluminium Foil - (Material No.05RAB9) when damaged.

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Remove the access platform(s).
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
