A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons that both thrust reverser control lever are not operational.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

WARNING: OPEN THE PROBE HEATER CIRCUIT-BREAKERS 1DA1(2), 3DA1(2,3), 4DA1(2,3) AND 5DA1(2,3) BEFORE ENG1(2)FADEC A and EIU 1(2) C/B'S 2KS1 AND 2KS2. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THIS SEQUENCE:

THE PROBES WILL BECOME TOO HOT.

(1) Open the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-040):

(4) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position.

F. Open the thrust reverser doors (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-010-040):

4. Procedure
Subtask 71-52-43-020-058-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Removal of the Vibration Sensor Harness Assembly (4206KS)

Vibration Sensor Harness Assembly ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

(1) Disconnect the electrical connector 457VC-A from the core junction box.
(2) Remove the two bolts (5) and open the two clamps (10) that attach the harnesses to the pylon. Remove the harness 4206KS from the clamps. Install the bolt (5) and tighten it with your hand.
(3) Remove the bolt (15) and open the clamp (20) that attaches the harness assemblies to the bracket at station 233. Remove harness 4206KS from the clamp. Install the bolt (15) and tighten it with your hand.
(4) Remove the bolt (15) and open the clamp (35) that attaches the harness assemblies to the bracket at the top left side of the engine. Remove harness 4206KS from the clamp. Install the bolt (15) and tighten it with your hand.
(5) Remove the bolts (15) and the clamp (40) that attaches the harness 4206KS to the bracket at station 221.
(6) Disconnect the electrical connector 4003EV-A from the TRF vibration sensor.
(7) Remove the harness assembly 4206KS from the engine.
(8) Put CAP - BLANKING on the electrical connectors.
