A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Make sure that the ENG/MODE selector switch is in the NORM position.
(b) Make sure that the ENG/MASTER 1(2) control switch was in the OFF position not less than five minutes before you do this procedure.
(c) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) are in position to tell persons not to operate:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize FADEC 1(2).
Subtask 71-51-43-010-105-A (1) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Make sure that the ENG/MODE selector switch is in the NORM position.

B. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the fan cowl doors are open (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-803):

(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position under the right fan cowl door.
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the fan cowl doors are open (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-803):

(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position under the right fan cowl door.
Subtask 71-51-43-420-084-A
A. Installation of the Generator Control and Monitor Harness from the Pylon to the Generator
(1) Remove all COVER - PROTECTION and CAP - PROTECTION from openings, tubes, hoses and connectors.
(2) Lubricate the threads of the bolts (5), (7), (24), (29) and (30) with LUBRICATING OIL TURBINE ENGINE SYNT BASE (Material No.CPNCL00062) .
(3) Put the P-clamps (8), (10), (25) and (31) on the electrical harness (2).
(a) Use the record made during the removal procedure to help get the correct location and position.
(4) Put the electrical harness (2) in position on the right side of the engine.
(a) Use the record made during the removal procedure to help get the correct routing.
(5) Connect the electrical connectors as follow (Ref. AMM TASK 70-70-00-910-804):
(a) Loosely install the bolt (7) to attach the P-clamp (8) to the support bracket (6).
(b) Loosely install the bolt (5) to attach the P-clamp (10) to the support bracket (9).
(c) TORQUE the bolts (19) to between 0.43 and 0.36 m.daN (38.05 and 31.86 lbf.in )

(d) Push the electrical harness (2) into the spring clips on the support brackets (12), (13), (14), (16) and (17).
(7) Put the electrical harness (2) in position on the left side of the engine.
(a) Use the record made during the removal procedure to help get the correct routing.
(8) Connect the electrical connectors as follow (Ref. AMM TASK 70-70-00-910-804):
(a) Loosely install the bolt (24) to attach the P-clamp (25) to the support bracket (23).
(b) Loosely install the bolt (30) to attach the P-clamp (31) to the support bracket (23).
(c) Push the electrical harness (2) into the spring clips on the support brackets (18), (19), (20) and (21).
(10) Adjust the tension in the electrical harness (2) along the routing.
(a) Make sure the electrical harness (2) does not touch adjacent parts.
(11) TORQUE the bolts (5), (7), (24), (29) and (30) to between 0.43 and 0.36 m.daN (38.05 and 31.86 lbf.in )

- Connect the electrical connectors (3) and (4) to the receptacles on the pylon junction box (1).
(a) Loosely install the bolt (7) to attach the P-clamp (8) to the support bracket (6).
(b) Loosely install the bolt (5) to attach the P-clamp (10) to the support bracket (9).
(c) TORQUE the bolts (19) to between 0.43 and 0.36 m.daN (38.05 and 31.86 lbf.in )
. (d) Push the electrical harness (2) into the spring clips on the support brackets (12), (13), (14), (16) and (17).
(7) Put the electrical harness (2) in position on the left side of the engine.
(a) Use the record made during the removal procedure to help get the correct routing.
(8) Connect the electrical connectors as follow (Ref. AMM TASK 70-70-00-910-804):
- Connect the electrical connector (27) to the receptacles on the IDG (26).
- Connect the electrical connector (28) to the receptacles on the support bracket (23). Install the two bolts (29).
(a) Loosely install the bolt (24) to attach the P-clamp (25) to the support bracket (23).
(b) Loosely install the bolt (30) to attach the P-clamp (31) to the support bracket (23).
(c) Push the electrical harness (2) into the spring clips on the support brackets (18), (19), (20) and (21).
(10) Adjust the tension in the electrical harness (2) along the routing.
(a) Make sure the electrical harness (2) does not touch adjacent parts.
(11) TORQUE the bolts (5), (7), (24), (29) and (30) to between 0.43 and 0.36 m.daN (38.05 and 31.86 lbf.in )

(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-410-803):

(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-410-803):
