A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off. Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
(3) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) is in position.
Subtask 71-51-43-010-068-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.

Subtask 71-51-43-420-054-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Thrust Reverser (Channel A and B) Harness
(2) Put the electrical harness (30) in position on the engine.
(3) Connect the electrical connectors 4101KS-A, 4101KS-B and 4102KS-A to the hydraulic control unit. Tighten the connectors with your hand plus one-eighth turn.
(4) Put the clamp (65) on the harness for connector 4101KS-B.
(5) Attach the clamps (65) and (70) to the bracket on the HCU with the screw (55) and nut (60).
(6) TORQUE the nut (60) to between 25 and 20 lbf.in (0.28 and 0.23 m.daN )

(7) Put the electrical harness (30) into the rubber supports and the flip-lock clamps (5), (10) and (40).
(8) Put the rubber supports in the line blocks (35).
(9) Attach the junction box part of the harness (30) to the bracket with the bolts (25), the washers (20) and the nuts (15).
(10) TORQUE the nuts (15) to between 25 and 20 lbf.in (0.28 and 0.23 m.daN )

(11) Connect the electrical connectors 4003VC, 4004VC, 4006VC and 4007VC to the junction box. Tighten the connectors with your hand plus one-eighth turn.
(12) Make sure that the harness (30) is correctly installed on the engine.
(13) Close the line blocks (35) and tighten the captive bolts.
(14) Tighten the captive screws on the flip-lock clamps (5), (10) and (40).

(15) Put the electrical harness (30) into the rubber support and the flip-lock clamp (5).
(16) Put the rubber support in the line block (35).
(17) Put the bolts and clamps (12) and (42) on the electrical harness (30) and install on the engine brackets.
(18) Put the bolts, anti-rotation lug and clamps (37) on the electrical harness (30) and install on the engine brackets.
(19) Attach the junction box part of the harness (30) to the bracket with the bolts (25), the washers (20) and the nuts (15).
(20) TORQUE the nuts (15) to between 25 and 20 lbf.in (0.28 and 0.23 m.daN )

(21) Connect the electrical connectors 4003VC, 4004VC, 4006VC and 4007VC to the junction box. Tighten the connectors with your hand plus one-eighth turn.
(22) Make sure that the harness (30) is correctly installed on the engine.
(23) TORQUE the bolts (12) and (42) to between 25 and 20 lbf.in (0.28 and 0.23 m.daN )

(24) TORQUE the bolts (37) to between 25 and 20 lbf.in (0.28 and 0.23 m.daN )
.
(25) Close the line blocks (35) and tighten the captive bolts.
(26) Tighten the captive screws on the flip-lock clamps (5).

(27) On the top left side of the engine, connect the electrical connectors 4100KS-A and 4100KS-B to the thrust reverser junction box. Tighten the connectors with your hand plus one-eighth turn.
(28) Attach the harness (30) to the bracket with the clamp (50) and the bolt (45).
(29) TORQUE the bolt (45) to between 25 and 20 lbf.in (0.28 and 0.23 m.daN )

(30) Put the harness into the flip-lock clamps (5) and tighten the captive screws.
Subtask 71-51-43-865-064-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL NOTE: For the recommended procedure for the installation of the wire harness (Ref. AMM TASK 70-60-00-910-041).
NOTE: To tighten the flip-lock clamps and line blocks, turn the captive screws or captive bolts 1/4 turn clockwise to engage the cam nuts.
(1) Remove the protective covers from the electrical connectors on the harness (30), the hydraulic control unit, and the thrust reverser junction box. (2) Put the electrical harness (30) in position on the engine.
(3) Connect the electrical connectors 4101KS-A, 4101KS-B and 4102KS-A to the hydraulic control unit. Tighten the connectors with your hand plus one-eighth turn.
(4) Put the clamp (65) on the harness for connector 4101KS-B.
(5) Attach the clamps (65) and (70) to the bracket on the HCU with the screw (55) and nut (60).
(6) TORQUE the nut (60) to between 25 and 20 lbf.in (0.28 and 0.23 m.daN )

. (25) Close the line blocks (35) and tighten the captive bolts.
(26) Tighten the captive screws on the flip-lock clamps (5).

(27) On the top left side of the engine, connect the electrical connectors 4100KS-A and 4100KS-B to the thrust reverser junction box. Tighten the connectors with your hand plus one-eighth turn.
(28) Attach the harness (30) to the bracket with the clamp (50) and the bolt (45).
(29) TORQUE the bolt (45) to between 25 and 20 lbf.in (0.28 and 0.23 m.daN )
. (30) Put the harness into the flip-lock clamps (5) and tighten the captive screws.
B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):
