A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off. Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
(3) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) is in position.

A. Installation of the ECU (Channel B) to Thrust Reverser Junction Box Harness (4214KS)
(2) Put the electrical harness (5) in position on the engine.
(3) Connect the electrical connector 4006VC-A to the harness junction box.
CONFIG-1
(4) Put the harness (5) into the rubber supports of the line block (10). If removed, put the rubber supports in the line block.
(5) Close the line block (10) and tighten the captive bolt.
CONFIG-2
(6) Put the clamp (25) on the harness (5). Use the bolt (20) to attach the clamps (25) and (15) to the bracket at station 167.
(7) TORQUE the bolt (20) to between 25 and 20 lbf.in (0.28 and 0.23 m.daN )

(8) Put the harness (5) into the rubber supports of the line blocks (30) and (35). If removed, put the rubber supports in the line blocks.

(9) Put the harness (5) into the flip lock clamp (40) and close the clamp.
(10) Connect the electrical connector 4000KS-J6 to the ECU.
(12) Close the line blocks (30) and (35) and tighten the captive bolts.
(13) Tighten the captive bolt on the flip-lock clamp (40).

(14) Connect the electrical connector 4000KS-J6 to the ECU.
(16) Close the line blocks (30) and (35) and tighten the captive bolts.
(17) Install the clamp, bolt and anti-rotation lug (42) that attach the harness (5) to the bracket.
(18) TORQUE the bolt (42) to between 30 and 25 lbf.in (0.34 and 0.28 m.daN )

(19) Examine the harness installation and make sure that the flip-lock clamps and line blocks are installed correctly.

(20) Apply the tape.
1 Wind the tape so that each wind overlaps the last wind by half the width of the tape.

Subtask 71-51-43-865-091-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL NOTE: For the recommended procedure for the installation of the wire harness (Ref. AMM TASK 70-60-00-910-041).
NOTE: To tighten the flip-lock clamps and line blocks, turn the captive screws or bolts 1/4 turn clockwise to engage the cam nuts.
(1) Remove the protective covers from the electrical connectors. (2) Put the electrical harness (5) in position on the engine.
(3) Connect the electrical connector 4006VC-A to the harness junction box.
CONFIG-1
(4) Put the harness (5) into the rubber supports of the line block (10). If removed, put the rubber supports in the line block.
(5) Close the line block (10) and tighten the captive bolt.
CONFIG-2
(6) Put the clamp (25) on the harness (5). Use the bolt (20) to attach the clamps (25) and (15) to the bracket at station 167.
(7) TORQUE the bolt (20) to between 25 and 20 lbf.in (0.28 and 0.23 m.daN )
